DESIGN PROCESSES STUDIO

This topographical hostel stems from a study of natural ink diffusion, evaluated in three methods: injecting, pouring, and dropping. The dwelling programs were developed to fit within the Chain of Rocks Bridge's linear language and the topographical nature of the water under. The hostels developed on the bridge create a village of public and private spaces, including a small plaza between units and conjoining outdoor patios for a communal experience on the bridge.
